Happy 4th of July!

This is my absolute favorite holiday!! I just love getting together with friends & family and being able to fellowship, eat, laugh, play, and at the end of the night relax while sitting on a lawn watching beautiful fireworks! Since we were kids our family would have tons of people over to swim and have a good time, I can't imagine ever stopping this tradition. It's such a blessing to be able to live in a country where we are free to go to church, fellowship & be able to pray and worship our Heavenly Father whenever we want. 

Fellowship with Friends...can't get any better then this.....

Even being a tad bit silly is what makes it all worth it....

Happy Memorial Day!

What a great day for a  holiday! We had Sun, we had heat, we enjoyed time with family & friends .... what else do you need?? Oh & we had FOOD!!! 

Spending time at the McCammacks is never boring, quiet, or without food! Everything was delicious and it was so nice to spend time and fellowship with family & friends while enjoying the outside! 

Apparently Pops is the king of Under Dogs!  

The boys got a good workout playing a couple games of basketball in the hot sun. It's never boring watching them play..especially the McCammack brothers. So much competition!  

It's also never a dull moment when Uncle Devan is around. It was bound to happen with how hot it was and after playing games of basketball....the water guns WILL come out! 

Can't wait to see our little one join in on this fun time with family for the holidays. God has truly blessed us with so many nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. 

Also want to say Happy Anniversary to my Mom & Dad!! This year is their 30TH!! WOW!  

And a Happy 2nd Heavenly Birthday to my sweet niece Lilliana Grace Merritt!! I love you & look forward to seeing you again with our Eternal Savior!

"Goin' to the Chapel and we're going to get married!"

May has been such a fun month especially since we got to celebrate the beginning of two families!! 

Manuel Sanchez & Jenna Kurtz  got married May 20th in Wakarusa IN.

Dev & I were late for the wedding but made it to the reception! Jenna was SO beautiful and Manuel looked very handsome! So excited to see where God leads them in their journey together as husband and wife!

Stuart Holliday and Manda Forren got married May 28th in Joliet IL

They got married at Calvary Baptist Church in Joliet and by Pastor Ryan McCammack...it was a sweet wedding and I can't get over how beautiful Manda looked! Dev & I were expecting Stuart to be wearing a camo tux...even so...he looked very handsome!!

So grateful to have both of these newlywed couples as part of my church family! Manda came to Calvary when she was just a little girl and returned in 2009 and Stuart started coming almost a year ago. Manuel came to Calvary as an intern last summer (2010) and Jenna would come visit as much as possible during that time.

The Great Outdoors!

Devan & I were able to take one last mini vacation before the baby arrives and what better place to go then to Wisconsin to FISH! We weren't able to go last year because we were very busy planning the wedding and I realized about a month ago that we better go now before another summer slips through our hands. 

The weather wasn't perfect but when you're up at the cabin it doesn't really matter....at all. It was so peaceful and so nice to be able to enjoy time out on the boat and fish with family...

I am so thankful to have a place to just go with family & friends and enjoy the beautiful nature God has created!

Easter!!

I really enjoy the holidays that we get to celebrate what Christ has done for us and we get to celebrate them with Family and Church Family. I feel silly even saying "Church Family" because I consider them as my immediate family, and to know that we are brothers & sisters in Christ makes it that much better. 

Enjoyed a wonderful time at Church serving in the nursery and being able to fellowship with other ladies (& Jeff) and taking care of the precious babies. 

I also really enjoy spending time with Family, eating yummy food, fellowshipping, and watching the kids search high and low for Easter Eggs!

McCammack Time:

We had a very delicious Brunch thanks to Momma J and Rand-o-licious! Yummy Cinnabon Pancakes with nothing but the best ~Drizzle~ to add on top. It was a breakfast feast!! Dev and I didn't eat the rest of the night...besides dessert later on that night.

 Ready to go find some EGGS!!!

 The kids had so much fun searching for their eggs and us adults had so much fun watching them go right up to an egg yet not seeing it at all. It was even more fun watching them open their eggs to find what's inside. Zachary was more excited about his jelly beans then his money.

I had a great time with my amazing husband on our first Easter together being married and preparing for our little bundle of joy to come in a couple months!

 Annelyse had so much fun and excitement she decided a little nap time in her Poppa's arms would be a good idea.

 The Hellers joined us and the kids had a blast playing outside, enjoying the rather nice weather. I am so thankful how God has blessed our family and our church with so many kids. I can remember when our family only had ONE Grandkid and our church only had ONE child in the nursery. I think there are more kids then adults in our "Family" :)

 I am so thankful for Christ's death and resurrection and allowing me to not only have my immediate family but my family in Christ!
I mean c'mon...where would I be without these two goofy girls as sisters?!?!

It was such a beautiful day out and I'm so thankful to be able to get out and enjoy it. I think Dev had more fun then I did, either that or he's the only one capable of doing "underdogs" for the kids. Either way we had a good day at the park!! I think the kids' favorite part was rolling down the huge hill. I'm definitely looking forward to many more days like this to come....very soon, as Spring is here!
