There's no place like home...

I had a busy day running to the Social Security office to finally get a new card, stop at my moms to get boxes for packing, and a delicious lunch at Chili's with Mom, Melissa (Zach & Braeden) and Tonya

I arrived home thinking my husband would be there since he was missing me so much and wanting me to text him when I was done eating so I could come home and spend time with him. I arrive home to NO husband but yet a house that appeared to be rushed out of, door locked but not shut all the way, freshly lit incense, and a hoodie on the floor.....?? About 10 minutes of wondering where he could possibly be, he walks in the door with nothing other then my FAVORITE flowers ever!! I can't get over how much God has blessed me...not just because Devan will buy me flowers (Stuff) but because he loves me unconditionally and shows me in his own special ways every day! (The two roses are still alive from Valentines Day)

Happy Valentines Weekend

Dev & I had to sort of celebrate Valentines Day a few days early due to that day itself being very busy. Friday night Devan took me to Enrico's in Frankfort which was so amazing. Both of our first times being there and let's just say, it won't be our last.

Saturday was also amazing because we spent all day in the house, nice and comfy, just hanging out and spending quality time together! Those are probably my favorite days. Sunday came and we enjoyed a wonderful church service and a delicious lunch.

As for Monday, after we went to my Dr. appointment Dev surprised me with something I have been begging him to do with me since before we were dating. ICE SKATING!! I know, I know...I'm pregnant.....why on earth would I even attempt it! Right? I knew as long as kids were in school, the rink would be pretty empty which it was. Other then the two of us there was 1 other, older woman and a father & his 3  yr old son. I was doing great out there, going round & round in circles (along the walls), gliding leeeft, riiight....until about 10 kids under the age of 12y/o came out...I knew I was in trouble. After about 5 mins with all those kids I did nearly fall, and when I say nearly I mean after a few arm circles in the air, a quick lunge forward and a quick pull back....I decided "Hey babe!! Let's go!" All in all it was a great Valentines Weekend with an amazing husband who loves me more then even I can imagine!

The First Addition

This past Tuesday was a very exciting day for me & Dev as we got to see our baby and watch him move & flip all over the place. It was such a blessing to watch and just know that in about 5 months that tiny thing will be so real and bring more joy to us then we could ever imagine. I can't explain the joy I have with my Nieces & Nephews, I cant' imagine the feeling from my own kids. It was a blessing to me to have my mom there with us as we got to experience this. Happy 24th Birthday to my love!!

 I am so thankful to be able to be the one who gets to celebrate this special day with him. He is such a blessing to me & I'm so excited for many more birthdays to come. It was a pretty busy day......woke up to a nice yummy breakfast, went to an afternoon movie...

All in all it was a pretty good day! What would end his birthday with a bang then a nice yummy Italian Beef dinner, followed by a very delicious chocolate moose cake!! Also thanks to Roger, Devan now thinks this is his Birthday weekend rather then just a day.....Oh Boy!

Here we go....

Well I figured I would begin my own blog in the start of a new year with many new adventures ahead. So far the first month of this new year has been such a blessing and so much fun. God provided a new job for Devan and allowed me to quit my job to be home and take care of my husband and the baby to come, I was re-baptized, and making new friendships that will honor God and bring glory to him. I am looking forward to what the rest of this year has in store as we have 11 months to go, so bare with me!
