What a Year!

I am still in shock that it has been a whole year since our sweet Ireland Kaye has graced us with her presence.

I feel as if I'm still healing from my c-section.

This little girl has been such a JOY to Dev and myself. We can't seem to get enough of her, until it's nap time then we'll make an exception *wink*

I sometimes think to myself, "I can't imagine loving this next baby as much as I love Ireland. . . what do I do??" I'm sure it's possible, it's just a love I never knew I had inside of me to give.

July 11th Ireland turned ONE!

We had a very nice birthday party for her with most of her cousins and I know she loved it!

Anytime she sees one of her cousins she gets SO excited and I love watching her grow up and enjoy her family. It's very neat (for me) to watch her expressions whenever ANY of her cousins walk in to a room or come walking in to church. If she is in my arms at the time, she would literally leap out of she could (soon probably).

My mom was very kind in getting Ireland's Birthday cake for her :) It turned out great & very delicious!

Every grandkid of the McCammacks has a special Birthday present they get from their Pops until they turn 18.
Since the day Ireland was born, I have been SO eager to see what Rande gets her for her birthday.
The day finally came and I LOVE IT!

It's a Hershey Kiss Music Box that plays "You Are So Beautiful"
Ireland will be getting a Music Box every year :)
Such a neat thing to get from your "Pops" and have something to remember him by and that he picked something out SPECIFICALLY for you on your special day.
Almost makes me wish I was one of the kids lol.

Thank you everyone for making Ireland's first birthday very special, not just for her but for me as well.

4th Of July!

Best Summer Holiday Ever!!

I'm sure most of you who know me, know that this is my most favorite holiday. I'm sure it has something to do with growing up & every year having all of your family and closest friends come over and cookout & swim and the best part of the day was meeting up at the stadium to watch the fireworks!

This year was especially special to me because I had my baby girl to share it with. Last year at this time, Dev & I were praying she would hear the fireworks and want to come out as soon as possible. It turned out that they must have scared her & made her want to stay in.

We had the priveledge of having our cousins in town to spend the very hot holiday with us. My cousin Andy, his wife Amy, and kids Alexa & Maya. Drew was on his way home from India while we were all enjoying the delicious food and pool to cool off in.

My cousin Andy tried very hard, for 2 days to hold Ireland and she didn't want anything to do with it. *Shocker*

Finally she was so worn out and tired that she apparently didn't care who was holding her as long as something was holding her up. I think Andy is built to hold just about anything up lol.

She even allowed him to feed her :) which doesn't take much, she'll eat just about anything!

On to the best part of the day, spending even more time with even more friends/family awaiting the exciting BOOMS of the fireworks.

We sit in the same spot every year and my Mom & Dad bring stuff to cook out and snack on while we play games and just enjoy time together.

Ireland was enjoying herself very much. . . .

Up until it started getting darker out and fireworks were randomly going off all over the place. . . .

It's almost as if she knew what was coming.

She was NOT a fan. . . . Oh well, maybe next year :(

However next year I'll have an 8 month old who probably will be a lot worse. Maybe I should start praying now for next year.
