God is good ALL the time!

Devan & I want to say a huge THANK YOU to the staff at Downers Grove Christian School for being a willing tool for God to work through. 

Even though we have never met any of them, they're burdened to help us because our bond in Christ is much stronger than any other relationship.

These groceries you have given us are a true example of God's sovereign providence over his children. 

We give God all the glory for this generous gift and we are grateful for your willingness to serve. 

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a little different this year. 

We were only able to celebrate with my side due to Dev's parents & Ethan and Lauren going to visit Megan & Steve in Virginia. 

Ryan & Tricia went to Indianapolis visiting her parents, however
we enjoyed a holiday meal the Monday of at Panera Bread. 

It was still a little different because it was only Me, Dev & my Mom and Dad eating a HUGE meal together. 

Ireland doesn't appreciate it yet....

but someday she will. 

Sadly the Merritts were at home sick

and 

the Cronks were at Josh's family. 

It wasn't until around 7pm that the Cronk's were able to make their way over. . . .

that's when it got interesting!

  Matt lost a tooth!!!

 I'm thankful Ireland was able to spend SOME time with family & cousins on her first Thanksgiving. 

She loved it! 

It is a tradition for the kids to wear these glasses. We have pictures of almost all of the grand kids in these glasses. Apparently this year Ireland had to take her turn early.
