Julie & Rande informed us that they were driving to Virginia to see the Hales and of course Dev & I jumped on board! With a baby on the way, this was the perfect time to go and since I've never been there I was so excited. It took us 13 hours to get there and we arrived at 5am (Eastern Time). Driving through unfamiliar Mountains in the middle of night is rather scary but somewhat amazing.
It was so great to be able to spend 4 days with them and the kids. It kind of makes me sad to think they might forget who I am by the time they come back in July...I'm going to try my hardest not to let that happen.
These 3 kiddos were so entertaining and such a joy to be around! I would go back in a heart beat but I think everyone would agree that it would be nice if they lived more like 13minutes away rather then 13hours away..am I right?!?
There is NO family like the McCammack Family
I know we are missing 2 more of the gang but these 4 alone were more then enough entertainment for someone who didn't grow up in the same house for 20 some years. I think I would've ended up in the ER from so much laughter if all 6 of them were there.
NO...this was NOT planned! Dev happened to point out our outfits to us and we didn't even notice.
Meg & Steve, Thank you so much for being so sweet & kind to open your house up even though you were only expecting 2 and ended up with 4. I can't begin to explain how truly blessed I am to have the in-laws that I do. God is so gracious & kind!
