Trick or Treat

I'm not a big fan of "Halloween". 

I'm not one to get dressed up, wear costumes, walk to total strangers doors asking for candy that I don't know where it came from, and some years freeze to death while doing all of this. 

Since having kids, I absolutely love it! I love dressing them up in their costumes, watching them go door to door being all cute and grown up, and getting a bonus....free candy!

This year we were able to enjoy going door to door with cousins. Even though it was someone rainy and cold, they didn't even notice. They were literally running from one house to the next. 

I need to savor these few years of taking them because in about 10 years they won't want mommy to go. They'll be too busy with their friends.

I know I'm very behind but as long as it gets done, right? 

I can't believe it's been a year already. For some reason this year flew by faster then any other year. Maybe it's because I have two little ones to care for and serve now rather then myself or just one. 

I still remember the moment the Dr's told me, "It's a BOY" and I could not help but sob. We now have our girl AND boy!

This little boy is such a bundle of pure joy. No, he's definitely not perfect but he sure loves to smile, laugh, and just have fun. 

We were able to have a very small party for with family. A lot of the family has older kids who play sports so some were not able to make it but it was still a lot of fun for the kids.
